TOP L-R (Mike White, Zane Alcantara, Marcus Levin)
Bottom L-R (Matt Keene, Travis L'heureux)
In 2008 the Rangers were looking to make a run to the New Hampshire Legion State Tournament but fell short along the way. The Rangers finished 10-12 on the season with a 7-11 District A Record. Captains Mike White, Marcus Levin and Matt Keene all playing in their fourth season, did a marvelous job leading the Rangers and getting them through the season. White provided a little bit of everything for the Rangers, power, defense, speed and a lot of big time pitching performances. Levin followed suit with numerous pitching performances. Lastly, Keene provided power in the line-up and solid defense at first base.Travis L'heureux and Matt Sciola, both three year players contributed tremendously throughout the course of the
season. L'heureux's stellar defense and speed helped make the potent Ranger offense. Sciola came up huge with many big relief appearances and clutch pinch hits. The Rangers also said farewell to Zane Alcantara, Trevor Greene, Jason Mcgregor, Ryan Mcintosh, and Matt Koban. Alcantara provided power and tough defense at the catcher position. Greene played for the Rangers for three seasons and was vital to the pitching staff as a back up ctacher. Mcgregor played two seasons with the Rangers, providing them with help in the bullpen and playing solid defense in the outfield. Mcintosh and Koban only had one year with the Rangers but made the most of it. Mcintosh provided the power and Koban provided the defense in the outfield.
